Hi, I'm Anna
My approach is grounded in Gestalt therapy and trauma-informed practice, with elements of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) where helpful. I work in a calm, attentive, and relational way, paying attention not only to thoughts and patterns, but also to emotions, bodily sensations, and present-moment experience.
How can I help
Humanistic approach
I believe therapy is most effective when it is tailored to the individual. Rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach, I work collaboratively with each client, drawing on different therapeutic tools and perspectives depending on their needs. My work is client-led, and I believe that even when we feel lost, overwhelmed, or disconnected from ourselves, there is often a part of us that knows what is important and meaningful.
Who I work with
I work with adults from a wide range of backgrounds and life experiences. I welcome clients of all genders, sexual orientations, cultures, religions and neurodivergent experiences. My aim is to offer an inclusive, respectful and non-judgemental space where you can feel comfortable being yourself.

What is counselling
Counselling is a form of talking therapy that offers you the space to explore what is happening in your life, how you are feeling, and what may be affecting your wellbeing.
A counsellor is not there to tell you what to do or give you ready-made answers. Instead, we work together to help you better understand yourself, your emotions, experiences and patterns, so that you can make choices that feel right for you.
You do not need to have everything figured out before coming to counselling. You may be going through a difficult time, experiencing anxiety, grief or loss, feeling overwhelmed, or simply feeling that something in your life no longer feels right.
Counselling can offer you a space to pause, reflect and explore these experiences without judgement or pressure. There is no need to rush. Together, we can begin to make sense of what you are going through and explore what you may need moving forward.
